Solana Rent Reclaim Guide: 3 Steps to Get Back Your Locked SOL
Every dead coin, junk coin, honeypot token, or airdrop token you've traded on Solana opened a token account that locked up ~0.002 SOL in rent. This guide walks you through getting it all back.
Step 1: Address Lookup β see what you've locked and which accounts you have
No wallet connection needed. Just enter any wallet address (yours or a friend's) into the "π Address Lookup" box on the homepage, and the system scans and lists every token account in detail:
- Zero-balance accounts: no tokens inside β can be closed directly to reclaim rent
- Dead-coin accounts: hold tokens that already went to zero and can't be sold
- Honeypot accounts: buy-only honeypot tokens that lock the account
- Protected tokens: SOL / USDT / USDC etc. (never touched)
- Non-redeemable: accounts where the project set a closeAuthority (can't be closed on-chain)
Every account shows its "reclaimable SOL", so you can see at a glance: how much rent is locked, what's reclaimable, and what's not. You can also use the TG bot @solata_rent_bot for a quick check.
Step 2: Connect your wallet
Switch to "Connect & Reclaim"
Click the "π Connect & Reclaim" tab on the homepage.Connect your wallet
Works with Phantom / Solflare / OKX / TokenPocket / Backpack and other Solana wallets. Note: MetaMask is an Ethereum wallet and does not support Solana.Step 3: Scan & reclaim in one click
Click "Scan & Reclaim", and the system processes your accounts based on the Step-1 details: zero-balance accounts are closed directly; dead coins and honeypots are burned first, then closed. Confirm each signature in your wallet popup. For every closed account, ~0.002 SOL of rent returns to your wallet. The platform charges only 0.0002 SOL (~10% of rent), and you only pay when the reclaim succeeds.
Our advantage: we reclaim all three account types
Most tools on the market can only close "empty" (zero-balance) accounts β once an account still holds a token balance, they can't help, because you'd have to sell the tokens and zero out the account first. Dead coins and honeypots can't be sold at all, so ordinary tools are stuck.
We cover all of them:
- β Zero-balance accounts β closed directly, rent returned
- β Dead-coin accounts (tokens worthless) β burn the tokens, close the account, rent returned
- β Honeypot accounts (buy-only) β burn the tokens, close the account, rent returned
In one line: whether the account is empty, full of dead coins, or full of honeypot tokens β we can burn it, close it, and get your rent back.
Bonus: Pump.fun volume deposits (accumulators)
If you've traded meme coins on pump.fun, pump.fun automatically created a "volume accumulator" account for your wallet, locking up ~0.0018 SOL in deposit. Some of these accounts even hold accumulated cashback β sometimes several SOL.
These accounts live under the pump.fun program, not as regular token accounts, so most tools on the market (which only scan Token / Token-2022) never see them β your deposit just sits there on-chain. We reverse-engineered and support them:
- β Shown automatically on scan: after connecting, accumulator deposits are listed alongside your token accounts
- β One-click reclaim: close the accumulator and get the deposit + accumulated cashback back (10% fee)
- β 10% fee: we charge 10% on this deposit + cashback β same rate as token rent
Almost everyone who trades pump.fun has this hidden deposit β others can't see it, we reclaim it for you.
